Join Lachlan as he recounts the transformative journey through the last decade of cloud native open source. From humble beginnings, we’ll retrace the milestones from the creation of the CNCF to the explosive growth of the cloud native landscape, fortified by strong communities supporting the biggest open source projects in the world. We'll conclude by discussing how cloud native is powering the generative AI revolution and preparing the community for the technological challenges of the future.
Lachlan is a Principal Program Manager on Cloud Native Ecosystem team. Lachlan has served in many different roles in the cloud native ecosystem including cloud native ambassador, emeritus Kubernetes steering committee member and release lead, and has deep operational knowledge of many cloud native projects. He spends his days building and contributing to software that addresses key challenges in the cloud native ecosystem.
